Rev Pat GlasgowFor over sixty years the West Indies School of Theology (WIST) has been training Christian leaders for the church of our Lord Jesus Christ. This has been a rewarding experience, as we behold the many graduates who are making outstanding contributions in the Christian arena and the world in general. WIST offers sound biblical training so that our clients may acquire theoretical and experiential knowledge, as well as skills to equip them for the spiritual challenges of our time. Our campus can boast of a serene atmosphere that encourages study along with a highly qualified team of faculty and staff that will assist in your personal and intellectual development.  We believe that Christian ministers must be holistic to adequately serve their constituents. Hence our goal is that at the end of your sojourn with us, you will be academically equipped, spiritually sensitive, and socially relevant. May God guide you as you seek to accomplish His will in your life! Blessings!

Dr. Pat P. Glasgow (President)

Student's Pledge

I PLEDGE to apply myself wholeheartedly to my intellectual pursuits and to use the full powers of my mind for the glory of God.

I PLEDGE to grow in my spirit in developing my own relationship with God.

I PLEDGE to develop my body with sound health habits through a required Physical Education Program.

I PLEDGE to cultivate good relationships socially with others and to seek to love others as I love myself, I will not lie; I will not steal; I will not curse, nor will I be disrespectful, whether on or off campus.

I PLEDGE to keep my total being under subjection from all immoral and illegal acts and habits, whether on or off campus. I will not engage in other behaviour that is contrary to the rules and regulations listed in the Student Handbook.

I PLEDGE to maintain an integrity of “openness” to God’s claims on my life, and to do my utmost to know and follow His will for my life.

I PLEDGE to attend class, all required chapel services on campus, and to attend the house of worship of my choice wherever God is honoured and lifted up.

I PLEDGE to abide by the rules and regulations that may from time to time be adopted by the WIST Administration. I will keep the Honour Code carefully and prayerfully
