Purpose: The Bachelor’s Degree in Bible & Theology is primarily designed to equip students for Christian leadership in the community. It can also serve as the basis for higher educational studies at other institutions for Christian service.
- OFF CAMPUS BA MODULAR PROGRAM/DISTANCE LEARNING
Purpose: The Bachelor’s in Bible and Theology offered through modules is primarily designed to equip practitioners for more effective leadership in the Christian community. It also serves as the basis for higher educational studies at other institutions. This Modular program is distinct from that of the Both semester program both in intent and content. This program is geared towards existing senior practitioners in ministry.
Special Note:
The Bachelors in Bible and Theology is a 128 credit hour program. Applicants can receive a maximum of twelve (12) credits for ministry experience (must be in continuous ministry for a minimum of twelve years) Graduates of the WIST Diploma will receive a maximum of 96 credits for their Diploma. Graduates of other institutions will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Purpose: The Diploma in Bible & Theology is specifically designed to prepare students for Christian Ministry. It can also serve as the basis for further study in other ministries and Bible related discipline. The major emphasis of this program is Biblical and Theological study.
The Extension Division of the West Indies School of Theology, through its Certificate Program has contributing to the development of individuals in ministry since1979. This division was formed to help church leaders, departmental workers and other members to acquire theological training; thus equipping themselves further in the knowledge of God’s Word. Since then, it has become an open door of opportunity for those believers who wish to acquire a deeper knowledge in the word of God. This two-year Certificate Program has served hundreds throughout Trinidad & Tobago and the entire Caribbean. This program may be used as an introduction to the Diploma of Bible and Theology offered at WIST main campus.
