THE NICHOLSON LIBRARY, with a holding of over 12,000 volumes is provided exclusively for the purpose of academic study and research which supports and augments learning. It serves the student body of the institution as well as those students attending the extension classes in Trinidad. The mission statement of this library is to provide access to the resources and materials that support WIST’s academic programs and work to compliment the overall philosophy of the institution.
Every student should be able to depend upon the library as a place of quiet undisturbed study. Silence will be enforced. To use the library is one of the greatest privileges afforded all students of WIST.
Internet Access and Wireless Network
The institution provides students with access to the internet and wireless network for the purpose of providing an interactive learning model.
