Welcome Back

Take some time to share what during your vacation. It might be a good way of easing back into the semester...

This might be your first semester at the West Indies School of Theology or you might be returning.  Some of you are beaming with excitement and the dream of exploring new and intriguing biblical truths, accumulating an impressive grade-point average and making the Dean's List.  Well you should know that there may be those around you who have a different vision of life at WIST.  Some dread the rigour of long nights of study, balancing career, ministry, family and their own spiritual development.  

For those of you who understand how to get the most out of your time here please encourage someone else.  Spend some time discussing your journey to this point.  Listen to what might be some of the same concerns, fears or misconceptions you may have had yourself upon entering WIST.  Point out the key perspectives, approaches and tools that were useful to you so far.  Be a friend.

The faculty and staff of WIST are always happy to serve you.  Please feel free to approach any one of them.  the will at least point you in the right direction.
