For over sixty-five years the West Indies School of Theology (WIST) has been training Christian leaders for the church of our Lord Jesus Christ. This has been a rewarding experience, as we see the many graduates who are making outstanding contributions in the Church and the world in general.
WIST offers sound biblical training so that our clients may acquire theoretical and experiential knowledge, as well as skills to equip them for the spiritual challenges of our time. Our campus can boast of a serene atmosphere that encourages study along with a highly qualified team of faculty and staff who will assist in your personal and intellectual development.
Our programmes are comprehensive. They are designed to prepare persons wanting to become involved in Christian ministry. Our Bachelor Degrees and Diplomas in Interdisciplinary Studies are designed to prepare participants for active and successful engagement in Pastoral Ministry, Christian Education, Bible and Theology, and Missions. Curricula are organized around core sets of institutional requirements and internships.
For the Bachelor & Diploma in Interdisciplinary Studies, the student will have to choose one of the following majors:
Pastoral Studies,
Bible and Theology,
Psychology and Counselling
(The Psychology and Counselling emphasis is only offered under the Bachelor in Interdisciplinary Studies programme.)
All programs will be offered through the current evening mode. This evening mode will utilize late afternoons and evening hours. The evening mode will be supported by the offering of additional modules in January and May/June. The Diploma is complete in 2 years and the Bachelor’s Degree in an additional 2 years.
