Overview
The bachelor degree completion programme is designed to appeal to persons who completed a diploma in theological education and wishes to further their studies. Their previous education experience would have prepared them to undertake undergraduate studies.
A person who wishes to pursue a Bachelor Degree Completion can access either the Bachelor interdisciplinary Studies in Bible & Theology or the Bachelor interdisciplinary studies with emphasis on Pastoral Studies
Within the context of the overall programme participants will:
- Display knowledge and understanding of the essential principles and practices related to the field of Bible & Theology
- Exhibit basic skills of observation, interpretation, and application in the study of the Bible.
- Identify and explain the significance of themes, events, and personalities found in the Old and New Testaments.
- Identify and describe pertinent background, interpretive questions, and related information pertaining to books found in the Old and New Testaments.
- Demonstrate critical evaluative skills in interpreting Christian literature and an ability to communicate these skills to others.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle Biblical & theological resources critically and relate them in appropriate ways to ministry within one’s cultural context.
- Reflect theologically on cultural practices and worldviews in light of the Bible.
- Apply appropriately the Biblical teachings and principles learned in the course of study to life and service.
- Evaluate the nature and practice of Bible interpretation and communication in the context of cultural diversity.
- Communicate Biblical truth in a variety of instructional settings.

An ordained minister, marriage Officer, District Officers or lawyers, Justice of Peace, etc
To certify a document simply take a photocopied copy and the original and ask the person to certify the copy by:
- Writing ‘Certified to be a true copy of the original seen by me’ on the document.
- Signing and dating it.
- Printing their name under the signature.
- Adding their occupation, address and telephone number.
- An official stamp
The transfer of credits to the West Indies School of Theology is not automatic. Credit transfer is governed by the following guidelines:
Transfer Procedure
Students desirous of transfer of credits should be guided by the following procedures:
- Confirmation of prior academic performance via transcripts.
- Submission to the office of the Registrar a Request for Transfer of Credit form.
- Submission of a portfolio of life experience (where applicable).
Note: Transfer of credit forms should be submitted at the time of registration.
Evaluation of student requests for credit transfers and life assessment are expected to be completed by the Registrar within six (6) week of the requested transfer.
